The Stage Where Yoga Stops Being Something You Are Learning
You know the postures. You are no longer counting the breath. What you need now is a structured practice that keeps going, gets deeper, and produces change you can measure over months rather than weeks.

What changes
Longer Holds, Deeper Work, Fewer Reminders
A beginners class spends much of its time on instruction. Once you no longer need that, the same hour buys you far more practice.
- Sequences run longer and link together properly
- Postures are held for more breaths, which is where strength comes from
- Pranayama moves beyond the basics
- Corrections get more specific, because the obvious ones are behind you
- You start practising on your own between sessions, with something to follow
Entry
Who This Batch Is Open To
Students who have completed the beginner stage and are ready for structured ongoing practice.
If you learned elsewhere, or practised years ago and stopped, message us before enrolling. Akhilraj would rather place you correctly than have you in a batch that moves too fast or too slowly.
Content still needed:
Confirm whether this batch is a continuation for Beginners graduates only, or open to anyone with existing experience. The page currently says the first, which is how the content doc described it.
Over time
What Consistency Buys You
Strength that holds
Not visible muscle so much as a body that gets through the day without complaint.
Posture without thinking
The correction stops being something you remember and becomes how you sit.
A practice of your own
The goal is that you could keep going without us. Most students get there.
Questions
Regular Practice FAQ
How do I know I am ready for this rather than beginners?
If you can hold the foundation postures without being talked through every step, and you are no longer thinking hard about the breathing, you are ready. If you are unsure, message us and Akhilraj will tell you honestly.
Is this harder, or just longer?
Both, but gradually. Sequences get longer and postures are held for more breaths. The point is depth and consistency rather than difficulty for its own sake.
I practised years ago and stopped. Where do I go?
Usually here rather than beginners, though it depends how long ago and how your body is now. Tell us and we will place you.
Can I move up from beginners mid-batch?
Speak to Akhilraj. He would rather move you when you are ready than hold you to a schedule.
Sit In On a Session
Join one class and see whether the pace suits you. Akhilraj will tell you afterwards whether this is the right batch.
